You can now create custom connections for Company entities, making it easier to model relationships across companies and organizational units in the platform. This gives you more flexibility to structure relationships between entities, processes, systems, suppliers, and other elements based on your specific governance and compliance needs.

We’ve expanded the OpenAPI with new policy endpoints, making it easier to integrate policy management into your existing workflows and systems.
What’s new
:→ Create, and manage policies and policy versions
→ Easily reference the latest policy, and latest published policy versions
→ Retrieve and update policy acceptances in bulk

Feature Update
Build more advanced workflow logic with condition branches
You can now handle complex workflow decisions more cleanly and efficiently with support for multiple branches in condition nodes. This makes advanced automations easier to configure, reduces the need for workarounds, and helps keep workflows easier to maintain.
What’s new
:→ Create multiple branches within a single condition node, beyond simple yes/no logic
→ Add catch-all fallback branches for unmatched conditions
→ Get a clearer overview of branches and their conditions directly in the workflow canvas

Today, we are proud to announce a major milestone.
Formalize now collaborates directly with ISO under a formal license agreement with UNE (the Spanish ISO and IEC Member Body), a global collaboration that allows us to support all our clients worldwide.
As the first GRC provider in Spain and a pioneer in the European Union to secure this status, we have moved from administrative tax of manual documentation toward a native collaboration. This ensures that the system logic you rely on every day is validated by the authors of the standards themselves.

Validator by Formalize
DORA Register of Information
Broader cross-table validation and new warning severity
Over the last quarter, we have expanded the validator with additional checks, new severity levels, and broader cross-table validation based on ESA feedback and our own production observations. These improvements aim to further align with supervisory expectations and reduce noise from low-impact findings.
The following enhancements have been introduced:
- Ultimate parent undertaking verified (B_05.01): LEIs reported as the ultimate parent are now resolved and cross-checked against the reporting entity's ultimate parent.
- Branch country consistency (B_01.03 ↔ B_01.02).
- Business function references validated (B_02.02 ↔ B_06.01).
- Rank-1 ICT service references validated (B_05.02 ↔ B_02.02).
- Assessment of ICT service references validated (B_07.01 ↔ B_02.02).
- Maximum length validation applied across columns in line with the DPM specification.
- Whitespace in LEIs flagged: LEIs with leading or trailing whitespace are now surfaced as a warning, so stray spaces don't silently cause downstream cross-reference mismatches.
- Warnings vs. errors: Checks can now be classified as warnings rather than errors, so likely-but-not-certain or low-materiality issues surface without blocking the submission.

More flexibility and faster updates across your data
Make changes to your data more easily as your needs evolve. You can now adjust certain field types without starting over and update multiple assets in one go, saving time and reducing manual work.

Single select → Multi select
(not reversible), Text → Large text
(not reversible)→ Apply edits to multiple
Assets
at once, following the same bulk edit functionality available for Suppliers

What’s new
:→ Configure custom fields directly on evidence.
→ Capture and update responses for those fields.
More ways to use and expose these fields across the platform are planned and will be introduced in future updates.
