We're excited to present MEAS - Multi-entity account setup!
This update will help you scale your operations by allowing administrators to securely restrict a user's view to a specific business/company unit. Designed to improve data governance and simplify permissions, MEAS dynamically filters the entire platform workspace so local teams and external auditors only see the data and resources connected to their designated entity.
From isolated risk registers to streamlined group-level reporting, MEAS removes the risk of messy cross-company data overlap, so you can reliably expand your setup.
What's new
:
The ability to associate a user directly with a company entity on their user card
Redesigned Users & access page, and roles configurations interface for better user experience and clarity
New access roles multi-select field in Settings → Users & access → User, that allows the admin to select a user's role
More granular, condition-based permissions, allowing you to restrict actions (view, edit, delete) based on the responsible user and/or selected company entities
A dynamic "User's company entities" condition that automatically maps permissions based on the entity the user belongs to, eliminating the need to hardcode roles.

right now to learn how to configure your company entities and roles!
You can now automatically
create
or
update
processes
right within your workflows. By selecting the new "Create Process" action from the dropdown list, you can eliminate manual setup and instantly initiate your team's standard operating procedures whenever specific criteria are met.

You can now set a maximum time limit on ''wait for'' nodes rather than having them wait indefinitely for an action or approval. If a timeout occurs, the workflow can automatically route down a separate branch to trigger a fallback action or alert your team.
What’s new
:
→ Prevent stalled automations by setting specific time limits on wait nodes and approval flows
→ Route timed-out workflows down a dedicated branch to trigger alternative actions or external webhooks
→ Track execution status accurately, as workflows that end on an empty timeout branch will now be clearly marked as "Timed out"

You can now create custom connections directly to and from
users
and
employee roles
and use the data in statistics. This allows you to explicitly define how team members relate to specific assets and processes, ensuring clear ownership across your organization and streamlining your compliance workflows.

You can now clone any existing workflow. If you build complex or repetitive automations, this feature will save you significant time by allowing you to replicate proven workflows instantly instead of building them again from scratch.
What's new
:
→ Duplicate any workflow by navigating to the
Operations
menu, selecting your workflow, and clicking
Options
->
Duplicate
in the top right corner
→ Quickly identify cloned workflows by looking for the automatic "(copy)" text appended to the original title
→ Safely customize your new workflow without disrupting your operations, as all duplicated workflows are disabled by default
CleanShot 2026-06-26 at 11
You can now seamlessly integrate your workflows with external systems and tools using our upgraded HTTP Request capabilities. This allows your workflows to securely fetch outside data, handle complex API requirements, and use external responses to drive your next automation steps.
What’s new
:
→ Fetch external data with new support for HTTP GET requests, allowing your workflows to pull live information from third-party APIs
→ Capture and reuse API responses downstream in your workflow by passing the retrieved data directly into "Run Code" actions using workflow variables
→ Choose the exact HTTP method that fits your endpoint, with full support for GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE
→ Attach dynamic key/value query parameters easily using a dedicated form section that automatically structures your URLs at runtime

You can now create more connected and scalable processes by using existing platform data directly in custom fields and questionnaires. Instead of manually recreating lists or maintaining duplicate information, you can reuse data already stored in Formalize to streamline data collection, improve consistency, and keep information connected across the platform.
What's new
:
→ New custom field type:
Connections
, using existing platform data as options
→ Supported across all resources (suppliers, assets, employees, etc.)
→ Use this custom field type to populate your answers in questionnaires. See a short demonstration of how this works, in the second video, below.

Keep in mind that any external respondent can see your data, so be selective of what you share in your questionnaires using this method.

You can now navigate your account configurations more intuitively with our newly restructured Settings. We’ve grouped access management together and streamlined the layout to make finding what you need faster and more efficient.
What’s new:
Settings
are now organized into clear, dedicated sections:
Account
,
Company
,
Users & Access
,
Compliance
,
Resources
,
Insights
,
Tasks
,
Operations
,
Data Privacy
,
API & Integrations
, and
AI
. Each section features its own related sub-tabs.
→ The
old "Security" page has been split into Access roles, Login options, and Security logs
, making them much easier to find under the new Users & Access tab.
→ Team members are now automatically routed to the first tab they have permission to see, so they always land on a page relevant to them.

You can now create custom connections for Company entities, making it easier to model relationships across companies and organizational units in the platform. This gives you more flexibility to structure relationships between entities, processes, systems, suppliers, and other elements based on your specific governance and compliance needs.
